Hi, I’m Demie Bagnato, founder of Mic & Muse and a vocal and piano teacher who loves helping musicians grow in confidence, creativity and self-belief. I work with singers of all levels and beginner to intermediate pianists, supporting each student to build strong foundations and discover their own musical voice.

My students have achieved wonderful results — from success in VCE and AMEB performance exams, to lead roles in stage productions and performances at community and festival events including the Moonee Valley Festival, Moonee Valley Christmas Carols, and the Carlton Italian Fiesta. These experiences help build both technical skill and confidence on stage.

I believe music lessons are about more than technique alone. Whether working with voice or piano, my focus is on self-expression, personal growth and learning to perform with confidence. Alongside teaching, I’m also a professional performer and recording artist, bringing real-world experience into each lesson to help students turn practice into confident, expressive music-making .
